DBRB3 project - Battle against giants fanwish 2

The "DBRB3 fanwish project" is a synthesis of fan wishes about the Dragon Ball games that I made in order to communicate with Namco Bandai's japanese producers and label director.

It has been shown to the complete team of producers on july 7th 2012, during a meeting in Villepinte, near Paris (France).

These giant forms should be playable. It's not too difficult to accomplish. How bad ass and awesome would it be to have 2 giants or more battling it out in a DB game!

In Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 there are giant.vs.giant battle. It wouldn´t be easy for the developers, but it would be possible.

I actually like this idea of yours. I mean these giant boss battles should have different scenarios but yet the same gameplay. I like the idea. But do you think these should have quick time events like they did in ultimate tenkaichi with the bosses.

Well, I personally like quick time events, but I understand that there are those who find it unnecessary. So I personally would have giants play differently. For example, during story mode, there would be quick time events only during certain areas of gameplay. Like when something story wise requires it. But during the rest of the fight, the main character plays like he would in any other battle. (for the most part) The only difference is (because of the great size difference)The smaller character would only attack areas of the giant's body. For example, when the smaller character is closer to the bottom half of the giant, that is what he has to focus on. He also has an option of moving to a different area at all times. Perhaps a small cutscene could be used while adjusting. But I think people will be more interested in fighting the upper half of the body. Because the gameplay will be closer to normal gameplay. People who play as giants will have a bit of a disadvantage because they will be a slower, but their attacks will be stronger and most will be unblockable. Not to mention they won't flinch when attack unless the smaller character uses charged attacks. So when it comes to giant fights, evasion, is the key. But, it's a work in progress.

Yes that's true. In truth I to love quick time events if put in right. Like God of War just seeing Kratos defeating his bosses is just awesome and the boss battles in Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. I think those were interactive, beautiful to look at, and awesome. Those are examples of putting quick time events on the right path. But I agree they should adjust the quick time events like give us a hint of when to begin or something.

I personnally love QTEs, but they need to improve the timing of these. :)
